HOW TO COMPOSE QUERIES
"Zu hilfe, zu hilfe..."
The database contains information on performances of different
opera companies.
First, if you want to find one or more record you MUST
specify the date you are interested in.
- If you don't give
the month, all the records in the specified year will be listed.
- If you don't give the day, all the records in the specified
month and year will be listed.
Second, you CAN decide who or what you are looking for,
a specific:
- city
- artist
- title
- composer
(If you don't type anything in the field, all the performances
in the given period will be listed.)
The database browser is case insensitive but you have to take care
of correct spelling of names. If you are looking for a person,
it is enough to give his/her surname. In case of cities,
use their complete English name. For titles, try first the original
language version or in exotic case the English translation.
At the moment, wildcard chars cannot be used in names. (I intend to
implement this feature later.)
