EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS:Over thirthy years of teaching, research, indrustrial and consulting experience with emphasis on measurement of nonelectrical quantities, process instrumentation and process control. Author and co-author of over 40 technical papers and/or presentations.
DETAILS OF EXPERIENCE
Research
Modelling of magnetomechanical interactions in ferromagnetic materials, research of function-principle of magnetoelastic tranducers, modelling of vortex-shadding flow-meters, systems-analogy.
Development
Development of bearing-pressure equipment in electric power generation, development and application of magnetoelastic load cell in adaptive control loops of tool-machines, development of a new type of inductive flow-meters for flow-rate measurement in open channels of wastewater.
Consulting
Process Control of pump stations of wastewater, calibration methods of acceleration-measurement, measuring systems for scientific investigation of dynamical property of steam turbines, calibration systems in development of pumps and turbines.
Management
Project director of several projects founded by major industrial customers and by government agencies, e.g. OMFB Responsible for project planning and direction on the field of process control. Supervised graduate theses and undergraduate projects.

CAREER CONNECTIONS
Dr. Fock has been very active in electrical measurement of nonelectrical quantities. His qualifications are summarised in several points:
• Project Director of the pressure-measurement in a combined bearing of the steam-turbines of reactions-type
• Project Director of the cutting-force measurement in lathes working by adaptive controllers
• Project Director of the flow-rate measurement by inductive flow-meters in open channels of wastewater
• Participated in development of gas-density balance for gas chromatographs
• Project Director of development of data acquisition systems and process control of pumps-stations for wastewater
• Organised the business industry training seminars „Workshops of Sensors”
• Member of the Scientific Society of Measurement and Automation
• Member of the Hungarian Committee and Technical Committee „Pressure Measurement” of IMEKO
