The Debrecen Summer School is the oldest and biggest institute in the field of teaching Hungarian as a foreign language. As part of Lajos Kossuth University we have been teaching Hungarian to foreigners since 1927. In 1997 the most important of our 3 main courses - "Hungarian Language and Culture" Summer Course - will be held from 13 July to 9 August with appr. 450 participants from 35 countries of the world.
