The Diagnostic Center of the PANNON Agricultural University is an imaging facility for both human diagnostics and animal research.The Center was
founded in 1989. It is an important diagnostic facility in Somogy County, Hungary but accepts patients from many other places. It also provides the MRI
diagnostics for the IFOR troops staying in the region. Furthermore, it functions as a unique research facility specialized in animal breeding: computer
tomography is used to select high quality breeding animals. Beside this there is a magnetic resonance laboratory with a portable MR spectroscope for
measuring relaxation times of tissues and other biological samples.
