In the Gabcikovo-Nagymaros case the legal process between the
Republic of Hungary and the Slovak Republic started on July 2, 1993.
The Hague International Court deals with a debate of the ex-socialist
countries for the first time, and it is also the first time, they
will decide in an environmental case. The end of the lawsuit will be
on September 25, 1997.
