The Teleki László Foundation was established by the Government of Hungarian Republic to create an independent scientific basis for the study on international relations and area studies and to maintain the Institute for Central European Studies and the Hungarian Insitute of International Affairs. The Foundation finances scientific programmes, continues independent publishing activity, offers scholarships, and takes its share in Hungarian higher and postgraduate education.
